We designed a web application tailored for energy services companies, enabling them to efficiently schedule jobs, forecast resources, and monitor daily operations. Users are able to organize upcoming jobs, assign crews, and effectively manage human resources.
Our main challenges involved aligning existing internal tools with the needs of users while ensuring long-term flexibility. Overcoming the complexities of reimagining existing tools and consolidating pieces was a key challenge. The goal was to create a more unified tool that offers a cohesive overview of upcoming jobs and resource availability.
Informed by user feedback to address these challenges, we introduced familiar navigation from previous internal tools with additional content into their new ecosystem in order to focus on clarity of resources.
